Culinary and Aromatic Herbs | Herbal Oils | Handmade Soap

Our crops are grown in raised beds, using local organic fertilizers, organic Neem oil, hand cultivation, integrated pest management, and other sustainable methods, insuring our crops are their healthiest.

We never use pesticides, herbicides, or any synthetic chemicals. Everything we grow and produce transpires with the least amount of negative impact to our land, upon which we are dependent.

By ‘going natural’ our plants are much more vigorous and productive, our soil is healthy, and our harvests bountiful.

L
ook for our Honest Herbs™ line of herbal balms, skin oils, and butters in the  future.

As you can see, we are working on our web presence.

At this time we have two free sites: honestherbsfarm.com and honestherbs.org.

As a goal of ours was to scale back everything to the basics when we took up this farm,  Etsy.com fits our size and style just right. Hope you'll stop by.

Welcome to Honest Herbs Farm online.

We are a sustainable micro farm in NW Oregon, specializing in culinary and aromatic herbs, herbal oils and vinegars, and herbal soap.

A future goal for us is to distill our herbs. Fragrant herbs such as Geranium, Rosemary, and Lavender make wonderful hydrosols, infused oils and essential oils. We're curious about growing unusual aromatics in our greenhouse to work with as well, such as Patchouli.

All of our products are hand crafted at our farm, using fresh, natural ingredients. Along with herbal oils, we also create natural herbal soap. Our handmade soaps are created in small batches with pure vegetable oils and lye in the cold process method, producing a luxuriously creamy, gentle bar of pure soap.

We now have a store on Etsy.com:

                                         HonestHerbsFarm.etsy.com

Etsy is a great place to find handmade items from artisans around the country and beyond. Check it out if you have the time.

It looks like we'll be at the Hillsboro Farmers Market on Sundays and Tuesday evenings this summer.  We might also have a booth at the Wednesday evening Forest Grove market.  I'll put up a calendar here soon.

H
onest Herbs Farm is located on Iowa Hill, part of the Chehalem Mountains of Washington County, Oregon. But don't let the term mountain fool you, we're under 1000ft.

From the top of the hill though, you can see Mount St. Helens (N), Mt. Adams (NE), and Mt. Hood (E). On a very clear day, you can even get a glimpse of Mt. Rainier.
